This advanced, integrative course provides a comprehensive approach to the treatment of concussions, head injuries, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI), with particular emphasis on trauma to the upper cervical spine and cranial structures. Originally developed from the clinical work of the late Paul Hellings and expanded by Dr Anthony Hilkemeijer ( Osteopath ) , the course combines neurological, nutritional, and functional healing strategies to support optimal recovery.

During the course you will be taught how to assess and treat Concussion, head injuries and upper Neck injuries caused by head trauma.

After learning how to optimise vitamin absorption through Paul’s protocols, you will learn how to address microbiome dysfunction - not only in the Gut but also in the joints, Tissues and throughout the body.

Core areas of focus include:

• Clinical protocols for concussion, head trauma, and traumatic brain injury (TBI)

• Treatment of upper neck (cervical) and cranial trauma

• Use of targeted nutritional therapy, including B vitamins, and vitamins C, A, and E to support neural and systemic recovery

• Diagnosis and correction of microbiome dysfunction and its role in brain inflammation and repair

• Regulation of neurogenesis and genetic expression, with emphasis on the vagus nerve as a central healing pathway

• Vagus nerve stimulation and modulation for autonomic regulation and enhanced neuroplasticity
